Andy Maples, DMD

Dr. Andy Maples grew up in Jacksonville and attended Episcopal High School before beginning his undergraduate education at Boston College. He graduated from BC in 2004 with a biochemistry major and a history minor. He then attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where he earned his DMD degree in 2008. Seeking further training, Dr. Maples attended a General Practice Residency at Meriter Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. After completing this post-graduate education, Dr. Maples spent a year practicing in Milwaukee and returned to the Meriter Hospital residency program as a faculty member. In addition to his residency training, Dr. Maples completed a 6-month dental implant course during his time in the Mid-West, and he continues to take multiple continuing education courses whenever possible. He would like to thank all of his teachers, instructors, mentors, and colleagues as he would not be where he is today without them.

Dr. Maples is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Christian Dental Society. His professional goal is to provide a wide range of treatment options and quality dental care to each and every patient while developing long-lasting relationships with his patients and colleagues at the same time. He strives to contribute to the Riverside Dental goal – helping patients keep their teeth for a lifetime. Dr. Maples hopes patients are able to enjoy their experience at Riverside Dental. He is honored and privileged to provide patients with exceptional care.

Dr. Maples moved back to Jacksonville in August 2010. He is thrilled to be home and is grateful for the opportunity to join the Riverside Dental team. He is very close with his family and thoroughly enjoys living near his parents who reside in the Jacksonville area. He is proud of his brother, Brian, who recently graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. In addition to his family, Dr. Maples enjoys spending time with his friends every chance he can. He is an avid fan of the Jaguars, Boston College athletics, and the Minnesota Wild. He enjoys participating in numerous athletic and outdoor activities, and he has plans to coach hockey in the near future. He has been married to his wife, Lindsay, since June of 2011. She has been an integral part of his life for many years and he looks forward to their future together.
